on an archaeological dig, there are scholarships available. Here is the post by the Biblical Archaeology Society in full
The Biblical Archaeology Society, publisher of BAR, offers dig scholarships of $2,000 each to people who wish to participate in a dig and demonstrate financial need. To apply, send a résumé, cover letter, and full contact information for two references (professional or academic) in one email to firstname.lastname@example.org or by mail to BAS Dig Scholarships, 4710 41st St., NW, Washington, DC 20016, USA. In your letter, explain where and why you want to excavate, and why you should be selected for a scholarship. Priority will be given to first-time dig participants. This is a reprint here but new to both Facebook and Hub Pages.
Besides the changes to the website theme, there is more news coming your way.
Over the holidays I was able to write two very pertinent but short books on topics that I know very well. The titles will be released as soon as I pick a publisher and get the ball rolling.
In honor of that achievement, I have re-released my 3 original books in Kindle format. The prices have changed and will save you some money. Their titles and prices are: Archaeology & the Unwary Believer, $3.99; Much To Talk About, Vol. 1, $3.99; And Much To talk about, Vol. 2, $3.49.
These books may take a few days to appear on Amazon’s Kindle book list so be patient. I also am aware that there were some mistakes that took place. These mistakes came in the file transfer between my computer and Amazon’s Kindle website and I do not know if I can fix them or not.
So please forgive me for those mistakes and focus on the content.
Thank you for your support.
