Fighting Abortion

24 Oct

many fervent pro-life activists do not extend their concern to the baby who is born and are least likely to support benevolent programs that they consider socialist–pg. 72 Our Endangered Values by Jimmy Carter

This is a problem in the church today as many church members only look at the unborn as the innocent whom God is talking about. Their mission is so limited that they do more harm than good. When Jesus told Peter to tend his sheep in the gospel of John, he did not restrict that care to only those in the womb. The church needs to properly care for all people at all ages in life.

By doing this we fight against abortion without making a mess of the situation and turning large groups of people off of the gospel.  We  roll up our sleeves and get involved correctly so that God will be glorified not vilified/
