The Fantasy Of The Big History Project

22 Dec

I get their newsletter and signed-up because I wanted to know what was going on with this new attempt to indoctrinate and brainwash our students. I use those strong terms because that is exactly what is going on with the teaching of evolution. The following quote is a prime example of this attempt to hide the truth from our young learners:

BHP Today: New Mass Extinction Event Identified
“Over the past 450 million years, life on Earth has been devastated by five mass extinction events that are widely recognized by geologists. Now, an international team of researchers proposes adding a sixth mass extinction to the list.” Click here to read the BBC article discussing this proposed sixth mass extinction. This is a great article to get students thinking about Investigation 5: how does extinction drive evolution?

There has only been one mass extinction in our history and that was Noah’s flood. Finding fossils or other remains at different levels cannot be attributed to any other alternative as there are so many another sources for those remains. There could have been a disease that wiped out other animals or sea life, we can consider this because we get those epidemics from time to time in modern times

They could have been a victim of hunting or shooting for sport, an alternative source supported by not only Buffalo Bill’s legend of killing thousands of buffalo at one time in his life and some of the Western Indians used cliffs to kill their supply of meat and hides by driving herds off the edge. Real history provides the correct explanations for why we see animal remains in the location and number that we do. We do not need to fabricate a history just because a few scientists cannot accept the actual facts of what went on in our past.

Then we need to consider the fact that we do not have ancient extant records describing to us how the ancient peoples obtained their food. We do not know who they all were so how can we attribute animal remains to an imaginary process when we do not have a complete record of the past? Those who accept and support evolution do a grave injustice to our students by lying to them and misrepresenting our history and it needs to stop.
As for the last line of that quote, extinction cannot drive evolution even though the evolutionist claims it can:

Since life emerged on Earth, it has been in a constant struggle for resources and existence. There have been numerous extinction events throughout history (five within the past 500 million years). Many of these events have brought life to the brink of extermi-nation. Yet life recovers time and again, filling niches left empty by organisms who failed to escape extinction (https://school.bighistoryproject.com/pages/console/#media/{700B4231-A81A-4FC7-8C43-28E4D387EBFD})

Because evolutionists cannot accept our true history they need to cut and paste together a history to their own liking, one that seems to support their alternative theory but under close scrutiny undermines it. They cannot prove these 5 mass extinctions nor can they prove that there were not enough resources available for existence. Such thinking is only a giant guess and scientifically impossible to prove.

Unit 5 introduces life to the Big History narrative and describes the mechanisms of evolution through natural selection. Despite life enduring nearly 4 billion years on planet Earth, it can be argued that species living today are being driven to extinction at a rate faster than ever before. If conditions continue at their current pace, the biosphere will experience a sixth major extinction event and humans, should we survive, will get a first-hand view of how evolution attempts to find a new equilibrium. (Ibid)

The idea of natural selection is as false and imaginary as the idea of an evolutionary process which possesses nothing, not one of the attributes we have and so on, yet is somehow capable of directing the development of life. It removes reality from the minds of people replacing it with a fairy tale that has no hope of ever being proven true.
The Big History Project is a farce, even if it counts Bill Gates as a major benefactor and driving force. It does nothing but lie to our students and turns their faith away from God and Jesus to something that has never existed and we know how Jesus feels about that

4 Whoever then humbles himself as this child, he is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. 5 And whoever receives one such child in My name receives Me; 6 but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it [d]would be better for him to have a [e]heavy millstone hung around his neck, and to be drowned in the depth of the sea. (Mt. 18 NASB)

This article reveals that you are a bigot and a liar.

And your claim about Noah’s flood is not even biblical.

The Bible never suggests that the flood in Genesis was an ‘extinction event’. Unless of course you assume that the apparently worldwide flood was real but the ark was fictional (in which case we would not be here).

I think you need to reread Genesis 6 & 7.

7 The Lord said, “I will blot out man whom I have created from the face of the land, from man to animals to creeping things and to birds of the [f]sky; for I am sorry that I have made them.” (ch 6)

23 Thus He blotted out [t]every living thing that was upon the face of the land, from man to animals to creeping things and to birds of the [u]sky, and they were blotted out from the earth; and only Noah was left, together with those that were with him in the ark. (ch 7)

You are gravely mistaken. Even the evolutionary models for extinction do not completely remove life from the planet. For some reason they are quite sophisticated and able to target specific species only leaving others alive. Very irrational.

I have only just spotted that insane nonsense dated 22 December. “only Noah was left, together with those that were with him in the ark”. Thus there was NO extinction. And you are either insane or are lying. Your suggestion that evolutionary models for extinctions remove ‘all’ life from the planet is also deranged – or a cynical lie (you know which).

The earliest extinctions did not remove all dinosaur species. Because they did not yet exist. So it would have been difficult for them to have been removed. But a later extinction DID remove all dinosaur species.

            NONE of which is ‘irrational’.

All the irrationality is YOURS and YOURS alone.

I’ve just sent the following wide circulation email all about your false and fictitious blog claims (it went to some of the bloggers you are having a go at among others):

The post is full of empty accusations of ‘fabrication’, denial, special pleading about diseases and the actions of Buffalo Bill and the like, and dogmatic unsupported statements that the researchers are rejecting ‘real history’. The tirade continues “Those who accept and support evolution do a grave injustice to our students by lying to them and misrepresenting our history and it needs to stop.”

Unbelievably Tee even denies the existence of natural selection! What planet is he living on? YEC Jonathan Sarfati would be appalled.

The fantasy is all yours, David.

    I submitted the following comment:
“This article reveals that you are a bigot and a liar.
And your claim about Noah’s flood is not even biblical.”
He might publish it and address it as I seem to recall he told me he did not censor criticisms.

And in this other article he accuses one or more of the copy recipients of ‘misrepresenting’ creationists, and also calls them an ‘unbeliever’* whereas they are I understand Christian.

I do not know the email address for Dr/’Dr’ Tee – if anyone else does I will of course forward this message to him. Likewise with the blogger ‘Always have a Reason’ (I’ve just made contact via his blog).

The only one doing special pleading is you. I cited actual history and life. And if Sarfati accepts natural selection then I would doubt his salvation and creationist views.

I just used the information found at age of rocks and dealt with the information not the author. Your over-reaction does not serve you well.

    Deception is big in you.

No. The person doing the special pleading is YOU. Your latest comment is just a denial of the obvious – to add to those in your two blog posts. You fail to show that any part of my email was incorrect.

      I reviewed Sarfati’s 2010 book here:

Mr Wartick of Always have a Reason tells me he has attempted to comment at your blog(s). He has sent me the text of his attempted comment.

Lack of checking the facts appears to be big in you.

The internet connection in this country is not always on par with what some would describe as acceptable standards.

I am not going to get in a ‘did to/did not’ argument with you but citing actual history is not special pleading. The only one denying the obvious is you as you try to recreate history to fit what you want it to be and ignore rational and logical explanations in order for you to construct and support an evolutionary ideology

Your remarks about Buffalo Bill and disease were special pleading aimed at discrediting established scientific knowledge about a series of past, separate, extinction events.

Ha Ha Ha HA… So you are saying that anything that shows your science to be wrong, is simply special pleading. HA HA HA HA Established scientific knowledge is not infallible and is not immutable. It changes all the time so why are you so afraid of having history and other events show your ‘established scientific knowledge’ to be in error? You are not very open minded or objective are you?

What you are saying is, you will slant the field of combat, so to speak, in your favor and no matter what proves you wrong, you will ignore the evidence and go with the error.

            You have lost credibility here.

There was no science in your post – just bigotry and false accusations of ‘lying’. Followed by special pleading when I pointed this out. Followed by false accusations by you that you have proven ‘my’ science ‘wrong’.

There doesn’t have to be science in my post. Science is not the ultimate authority for anything. I resented real evidence and you rejected it which tells the world that you are the one being irrational and illogical as well as ignoring your own scientific principles.

Buffalo Bill was just one contributor to the huge loss of the massive buffalo herds. Stop distorting the example to fit your unsupportable argument. My examples provided credible evidence for why there were different groups of animal remains found throughout the world.

The deception which possesses you blinds you to these facts.

So is the buffalo/bison extinct then? And does this mass die-off of them appear in the fossil record (above the fossil record you fools say mostly reveals ‘Noah’s Flood’ but fails to reveal any extinction event from millions of years ago)?

And please look up the word ‘extinction’ in a dictionary. In order to discover that it does NOT mean ‘many animals died’.

I have decided to only address these few words. Denial is part of the problem when bringing the truth to those who take secular science over God and his word. The Bible was quoted exactly and there was an extinction mentioned, if one cannot accept that then the problem is with those who do the denial not with those presenting their side of the issue correctly and with the right evidence

The false accusations at the end of the quoted words only demonstrate the outrageous attitude, the lack of an open mind and true objectivity of htose who disagree with the Bible

“You have no argument. Admit it.”

I have placed Haworth-robert’s comment on the board and quoted it here simply to say that there comes a point when discussion is over because the other side just will not allow their opponents to present credible evidence, examples or other proof discrediting evolution.

When evolutionists dismiss actual history using one of their logical fallacy defenses, it becomes pointless to continue wasting one’s time talking to those who will not accept that the other person has an argument and probable alternatives to their theory.

The only discussion the evolutionist wants is where everyone caves in to their false ideas and that just won’t happen here.
