#1. Jude 1:4 For certain men whose condemnation was written about long ago have secretly slipped in among you. They are godless men, who change the grace of our God into a license for immorality and deny Jesus Christ our only Sovereign and Lord.
The wheat and the tares Jesus spoke about. They are still in the church 2,000 years later
#2. Jude 1:7 In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire.
Peter says the same thing– 2Pe 2:6 if he condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah by burning them to ashes, and made them an example of what is going to happen to the ungodly
#3. Jude 1:14 Enoch, l the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men: See, the Lord is coming with thousands upon thousands of his holy ones
Jude 1:15 to judge everyone, and to convict all the ungodly of all the ungodly acts they have done in the ungodly way, and of all the harsh words ungodly sinners have spoken against him.?
Jude 1:16 These men are grumblers and faultfinders; they follow their own evil desires; they boast about themselves and flatter others for their own advantage.
Jude is not quoting from the book of Enoch, most likely the book of Enoch copied from Jude or knew of Enoch’s prophecy. be on guard and make sure the people you encounter are actually this type. Do not paint with a broad brush or assume. We do not hurt innocent people
#4. Jude 1:21 Keep yourselves in God’s love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life.
This is very important
#5. 3Jn 1:11 Dear friend, do not imitate what is evil but what is good. Anyone who does what is good is from God. Anyone who does what is evil has not seen God.
In other words depart from sin and put ion the fruits of the Spirit
#6. 2Jn 1:8 Watch out that you do not lose what you have worked for, but that you may be rewarded fully.
Don’t lose your salvation
