Archaeologists say they have found the bones of Mona Lisa, but cannot extract DNA
A team of researchers seeking to unveil the true identity of the mysterious model who sat for Leonardo da Vinci’s world renowned painting, The Mona Lisa, say they have found bones of the woman with the enigmatic smile.
Archaeologists working in Florence, Italy said this week that they have fragments of bone which they are certain belonged to Lisa Gherardini Del Giocondo—the woman thought to have sat for da Vinci’s famous painting—but the remains cannot be DNA tested due to their decayed condition.

As you can see by the words ‘certain’ & ‘thought’ they really do not know and are only guessing. DNA is not the magic tool everyone thought it was going to be.

#2. That Is Because Neanderthals Were Just Humans-http://www.ancient-origins.net/news-evolution-human-origins/entire-neanderthal-genome-finally-mapped-amazing-results-001138

Entire Neanderthal genome finally mapped – with amazing results
The results of an extensive analysis of a 50,000-year-old toe bone belonging to a Neanderthal woman, which was unearthed in a cave in 2010, have been long awaited. Now, after much anticipation, the findings have finally been released by the journal Nature, and they have not disappointed. For the first time ever, researchers have completely sequenced the fossil’s nuclear DNA to the same extent and quality as that of genomes sequenced from present-day people.
All around the world, news headlines shout out about incest and inbreeding and other sensationalistic statements. Sadly, they are missing the most amazing results of all.
This incredible research has revealed the following:
There is now conclusive evidence that Neanderthals bred with Homo sapiens – a fact disputed for many years. Some scientists claimed the two species had never even met.
Ancient human species, including Neanderthals, Denisovans and Homo sapiens mated with each other, resulting in an incredibly complex family tree.

This is only evidence that the Neanderthal and other supposed ancient species were only human and not part of some evolutionary ascent. you cannot trust the work of evolutionists for they are blind and deceived.

#3. No They Didn’t– http://www.ancient-origins.net/news-evolution-human-origins/ancient-humans-bred-completely-unknown-species-001059

Ancient Humans Bred with Completely Unknown Species
A new study presented to the Royal Society meeting on ancient DNA in London last week has revealed a dramatic finding – the genome of one of our ancient ancestors, the Denisovans, contains a segment of DNA that seems to have come from another species that is currently unknown to science. The discovery suggests that there was rampant interbreeding between ancient human species in Europe and Asia more than 30,000 years ago. But, far more significant was the finding that they also mated with a mystery species from Asia – one that is neither human nor Neanderthal.
Scientists launched into a flurry of discussion and debate upon hearing the study results and immediately began speculating about what this unknown species could be. Some have suggested that a group may have branched off to Asia from the Homo heidelbernensis, who resided in Africa about half a million years ago. They are believed to be the ancestors of Europe’s Neanderthals.

This is not just a ‘he said/she said’ argument. it is merely pointing out that different genetic information does not mean that there was a different species. it just means that different genetic information was, and probably still is, existing at the time. There is only one human race and all of science’s manipulation and theories won’t change that fact.

#4. Do We Really Need To Know Every Origin Of Everything?http://www.ancient-origins.net/myths-legends/exploring-true-origins-snow-white-and-seven-dwarfs-004150

Exploring the True Origins of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is one of the most famous fairy tales in the world, first related in 1812 when the Grimm brothers published their collection of tales that had been gathered from old European folk stories. Like many of the Grimm tales, it is believed that Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs has been in existence since the Middle Ages, passed down through word-of-mouth over the centuries. In 1937, Walt Disney’s animated feature film of Snow White popularized the story worldwide, and since then, it has generally been regarded as purely a tale of fiction. However, recent research suggests the famous fairy tale may not be so fictional after all.

The historical aspect is probable but do we really need to find out if the fairy tale is based upon reality or not? Sometimes it is better to just leave things alone.

The Shroud of Turin: Controversial Cloth Defies Explanation as Study Shows it Has DNA From Around the World

My skepticism come sin from the fact that this cloth has been handled by many different people, exposed to many different environments and so on over the years. This DNA could have come to the shroud at any time, been wiped off at any time and on it goes. This is not conclusive evidence that the shroud belonged to Jesus

Oldest Known Draft of the King James Bible Discovered in Cambridge
The King James Version (KJV) is the best-selling version of the best-selling book in world history—the Bible. It is estimated that more than 1 billion copies of the KJV have been sold. It was translated and rewritten by six teams of 17th century scholars to protect bishops’ hegemony in the Anglican church and ensure the divine right of kings. No wonder they call it the “King” James Version, the oldest known draft of which has just been found by a professor in the papers of one of its 54 translators.
Hardly any working papers and drafts of the King James Version have been found since the first edition was published in 1611, so news of the discovery of this draft of a small part of the Bible has had a big impact in certain circles.
With the find of Professor Jeffrey Alan Miller of Montclair State University in New Jersey, Bible scholars will have a new look into the makings of the KJV, which has been called the most poetic English translation of the Bible and which has a rich and interesting history. Professor Miller found a working notebook with drafts of the Apocrypha of translator Samuel Ward among Ward’s papers at Cambridge University in England. Ward was a member of six teams of scholars that James I appointed to give a more king- and Anglican Church-friendly version of the Bible

Even translators needed to do rough copies but this isn’t even the Bible just extra books that have little to no value.
