#1. Why I Do Not Like Most Church Consultants— Simple Church by Rainer & Geiger

If you follow the input given in this book…

Funny, I thought the church was supposed to be following Christ and the HS, along with the instructions found in the Bible not some human authored work that presents a rehashed and repackaged strategy. There is room for church consultants but they should be very godly men who look at spiritual problems, failures to implement biblical teaching and the godliness of the staff and help the church leaders return to a biblical based atmosphere.

Church consultants should not be trying to design churches to fit their secular business but getting the church back to true godly discipline, godly preaching, and other basics that Jesus wants to see in his church. They should be focusing on teaching pastors and other leaders how to be wise, understanding, and how to remain strong when those in the church want alternatives to biblical teaching.

That was one of the biggest failings of that book. It was all about a business model the authors favored and had nothing to do with God and what he wants for his church. The spiritual issues were ignored in favor of a ‘process’ as well as making the church act like some manufacturing plant instead of a place of worship and fellowship, healing and instruction.

#2. Bruce Jenner’s Deception http://www.christianpost.com/news/bruce-jenners-pastor-refuses-to-discuss-parishioners-transition-to-caitlyn-following-vanity-fair-reveal-139957/

God looks down and chuckles a little bit and says, ‘Hey, let’s give him the soul of a female and see how he does with that. … Maybe this is my cause in life. This is why God put me on this Earth — to deal with this issue.”

If that were the case, then Jenner failed miserably. I think you are all smart enough to figure out where the deception is in Jenner’s thinking as God does not lead people to sin or disobey him or his word. The vital piece of data missing in Jenner’s escapades and the issue of transgenderism is the involvement of evil in al of this. People just refuse to accept the fact that Satan and his minions are out there tempting, deceiving, influencing humans to do evil.

Evil gets away with it because people like Jenner do not acknowledge that part of life and only focus on God and make him the king of sin not the Holy God he actually is. Jenner’s  ’cause’ in life was to live a holy life pleasing God and teaching his children how to be real men and women of God, not to give in to deceit and evil influences and change his gender identity.

#3. When You A Person Sinhttp://www.christianpost.com/news/bruce-jenners-pastor-refuses-to-discuss-parishioners-transition-to-caitlyn-following-vanity-fair-reveal-139957/

The Christian Post reached out to California pastor Brad Johnson of the Life Change Community Church (which was recently renamed California Community Church), in Agoura Hills on Wednesday and he said, like all members of his church, he respects Jenner’s privacy.

I would like to know what he means by ‘respecting Jenner’s privacy.’  Does he just not comment on what is going on or does he actually talk to Jenner and explain to him what he is doing is very wrong and sin and can’t divulge privileged information? Believers do have a responsibility to talk to their fellow-man about their actions and Mt. 18 lays out the procedure on how to do this:

15 “If your brother sins[k], go and [l]show him his fault [m]in private; if he listens to you, you have won your brother. 16 But if he does not listen to you, take one or two more with you, so that by the mouth of two or three witnesses every [n]fact may be confirmed. 17 If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church; and if he refuses to listen even to the church, let him be to you as [o]a Gentile and [p]a tax collector.

This means that you have determined that it is a real sin, then you are to exclude the person until such time that they repent. It does not mean you welcome them and their sinning ways into the fellowship of the church. Nor does it mean you blindly support them in their pursuit of sinful actions. It is hard to comment upon the Pastor’s point  because we do not know very much about his attitude and actions towards this issue. We also are not privy to anything he has said to Jenner throughout this whole episode. All we can hope is that the pastor is a true man of God and that he followed biblical teaching in his communications to Jenner about the latter’s transgender desires.

This is one of the tragedies of the Christian life. Sometimes we are only left with hope, faith and prayer and are helpless observers relying upon God to intervene and lead the misguided and the deceived back to the truth.

#4. To Call YEC People Liars…– http://www.patheos.com/blogs/exploringourmatrix/2015/06/no-new-information-about-young-earth-creationism-and-intelligent-design.html

Intelligent Design proponents and young-earth creationists tell lies. That isn’t new information. One of the lies they tell is that genetic mutations do not produce new information.

You need to have the truth on your side as well as God and the OEC people and other alternative believers just do not possess those two trump cards. Dawkins himself has admitted that he has observed no new information generated by genetic mutations (I just can’t find the video right now). The problem with McGrath’s point there is that he is taking secular science over God’s word thus he i sin no position to call anyone a liar.

You also need to have your argument free from dishonesty, manipulation of the information, and much more. McGrath’s position is not free of those negative elements. No OEC position is free of those negative elements nor are any evolutionary theories no matter the variety of emphasis.

#5. No It Doesn’thttp://www.patheos.com/blogs/exploringourmatrix/2015/06/the-church-needs-a-revolution.html

The Church Needs a Revolution

What the church needs is to get back to God and humble itself, putting back biblical instruction and root out all false teaching from its pulpits and classrooms.

#6. Good Advicehttp://www.christianpost.com/news/3-things-to-know-about-courage-sex-change-and-god-139998/

Here are some most excellent examples of courage (not a single one was interviewed by Diane Sawyer before their tremendous heroics). I am in awe of and praise God for each:

You will have to click on the link to get his examples and do take time to read the whole article. It is quite good.
